We live in a world of uncertainty, of constant change, and full of inflated demands. As You Please is a response to the pressures from an uncertain world through abstraction.

A reminder of our autonomy and permission to act in accordance with one’s own free will, however we choose to participate.

There's something rebellious in play, in letting go, in remaining curious, in vulnerability, in allowing marks to exist without a fixed meaning, in not being completely sure of what we are seeing. Abstraction allows space for ambiguity and for feelings without explanation; for a kind of truth that words can not capture. While we may try to impose order, make sense of shapes, or search for recognition within chaos- abstraction reminds us that sometimes, meaning is found not in certainty, but in the act of searching itself.
